Full-Service Ghostwriting & Publishing · English & Spanish

Your story, written and published. You don’t write a single page.

A boutique publishing house that writes, designs, and publishes your book — in English and Spanish. Fully yours, ready to take you as far as you dare to dream.

Who We Are

Before we opened our doors, we built our own path in publishing — and we have a growing catalog to prove it.

Joseph and Mary, founders

“When we couldn’t find a door to publish our own stories, we decided to build one. Today we open that door to anyone with a story to tell.”

— Joseph Herrera & Mary Grett Authors, founders of Joseph & Mary Grett LLC.

We’re a publishing house that already lived the process we now offer, held to the same standard we’d demand for our own work.

Let’s Talk

Somewhere in you, there’s a book waiting to be written.

You already have the story. What you don’t have is the time, or the process, to turn it into a book.

Here’s how it works: you talk, we listen. We write every chapter, edit it, design it, and adapt it into both English and Spanish. We publish it under our publishing imprint, with your own ISBN — paperback, hardcover, and digital. One process. You as the author. Nothing else on your plate.

Here’s why it matters: a book doesn’t disappear in a day like a post does. It sits on a shelf twenty years from now. It’s yours forever — not rented from a platform, not subject to an algorithm.

Here’s what it’s worth: a book is an asset, not content that gets consumed once. You keep 50% of net royalties for as long as your book stays published with us, and you can resell as many copies as you want, at whatever price you want.

Your story already exists. The only question is how far you want it to go.

Before You Decide

What no one tells you about the publishing industry.

Here’s what each path actually means.

Publication-Only Services

They upload your finished manuscript to Amazon and charge you for it. Your book ends up self-published, with no publishing house behind it and no ISBN of your own.

Independent Ghostwriting

You pay someone to write. That’s it. Editing, cover design, formatting, ISBN, publishing, category and keyword optimization — you handle all of that yourself, coordinating separate vendors.

Self-Publishing

You do or hire every piece yourself. Full control, but also the time and cost of putting it all together on your own. And if you want your book in two languages, professional translation runs $0.08 to $0.20 per word — on the largest package, that alone can exceed $14,000.

Traditional or Low-Cost Publishers

Literary agents reject roughly 96% of the authors who query them, and individual publishers often accept less than 1% of manuscripts submitted directly. If you do get in, royalties tend to be far lower, because their model runs on volume, not dedicated attention. Bilingual editions are almost never included, and copies you can buy to resell yourself usually come with a fixed cap.

Ghostwriting Factories

Countdown timers on “50% off” discounts. No price listed anywhere — just “request a free quote.” Generic testimonials from two or three clients, first names only. If a service won’t show you its price or its real work upfront, that’s not a deal — that’s a red flag.

Us

One package, one process, one contract: writing, editing, design, publishing, and adaptation into English and Spanish, with your own ISBN. You coordinate nothing. Your 50% royalty doesn’t shrink over time — it’s yours for the full run of your book’s publication with us, and you can order as many copies as you want to resell — no limit.

Do you have the time to put all of this together yourself, or would you rather have someone do it right, from the start?

How We Work

From your story to your published book.

1

Initial Call

We talk through your story and confirm, together, which package fits it best.

2

Sign the Contract

100% digital, governed by the laws of the State of New York, with full legal backing from day one.

3

Video Interviews

Through video calls, we get to know your story in depth, capturing every detail in your own words.

4

Writing & Bilingual Adaptation

We turn your voice into chapters, in English and Spanish, respecting your voice completely — no imposed style, no imposed angle.

5

Both manuscripts, English and Spanish, go through your approval. Nothing gets published without your confirmation.

Cover design, formatting, and publication under our publishing imprint. Your ISBN is included in your package — every edition of your book gets its own.

First Generation

Founding Author Program

Before we opened our doors, we set aside space for the first authors to trust their story to Joseph & Mary Grett. This isn’t a promotion — it’s the place held by those who join during our publishing house’s founding stage, with terms exclusive to this first generation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the price include everything, or are there extra costs later? +

There are no hidden costs on your paid, approved manuscript. What you pay is the fixed price of your package, start to finish. This doesn’t apply if you later decide to substantially change the focus, story, or content of the book — that would be handled as a new project, with its own agreement.

How much time do I need to put in? +

Just the time of your video interviews, scheduled whenever you decide. We handle everything else: writing, editing, design, bilingual adaptation, and publication. You only approve your manuscript once it’s ready.

Can I cancel? What happens to what I already paid? +

Yes, you can decide not to continue at any point. The first payment covers your complete manuscript; once delivered, it’s non-refundable, and the manuscript is yours. The second payment is for publication, and it’s only triggered if you decide to move forward to that stage.

What happens to the rights to my book? +

Your book will always be yours. Copyright belongs to the author, regardless of whether our publishing relationship continues or ends in the future.

Do I have to be in the United States? +

Not necessarily. We’re a publishing house based in New York and operate under that state’s laws, but if your location makes it impossible to meet in person, we operate 100% online: digital signature, video interviews, no matter where you live.

“Every story deserves to be written — and the freedom to fly as far as it dares to dream.”
